How we work

Six stages, and you always know which one you are in.

There is no point in the middle where the project changes hands, and no point where you have to chase someone to find out what is happening.

The stages

From the first site visit to the twelve month check

01

The site visit

We come and look. We talk about what you want, what the site and the council will allow, and what it is likely to cost. No charge, and no obligation at the end of it.

02

Design and documentation

Concept, then developed design, then the full construction drawings and specification. You see it in 3D before it is framed, while changing it is still a conversation.

03

Approvals

DA or CDC, whichever the site and the proposal call for. We handle the council correspondence.

04

Flexible pricing structure

We are involved in the design process from start to finish, so we can value engineer the job on paper rather than on site, saving thousands in the long run. You get a complete itemised price before the job starts, and you choose the pricing structure that suits you best.

05

Construction

One supervisor, a published programme and weekly reporting. The same team that drew it builds it.

06

Handover and the twelve month check

Defects walk, warranties and manuals at handover, then we come back twelve months later and look at it again.

In writing

Four commitments that hold it together.

01

A flexible pricing structure

A complete itemised price before the job starts, so you can see what each part of the job costs before you commit to any of it, and a pricing structure that suits you.

02

One site supervisor who is on your job

Not running six others. The person who answers your call was on site that morning.

03

A published programme and a weekly meeting

You always know where the project is up to, and what is happening next week.

04

A defects walk, warranties, manuals and a twelve month check

Handover is a process with a date on it, not the day the last trade drives away.

What it costs to find out

Nothing.

The first site visit is free and there is no obligation at the end of it. We come and look, talk about what you want, and tell you what it is likely to cost. If the number does not work, you have lost an hour and learned something useful.

“As the owner I have felt welcomed and involved and a part of the team all through the project.”
